Puja: A most critical term. It means devotion in Sanskrit. But it has multiple meanings. It is a prayer session. A transformation ritual. Chant and visualization are summoned in order to purify a spot or battle demons. The help of higher forces is invoked.
Bardo: Tibetan for Gap or transition between various states of mind and time intervals. Death is a critical bardo, but there are bardos inside bardos: seconds, minutes, hours, days, months, years, decades, centuries, and millenium.
Tulku: A reincarnation of an advanced being. From saint to sorcerers of all classes.
Medicine Buddah: A practise for healing mind and body. A healing puja used by Tibetan Lamas.

Prague
Yuppies: Young Urban professionals in America since 1980's to now. Black and White hats: people inclined towards black and white stress.
Karma: Accumulation of mind activity across many lives. It determines the circumstances of each rebirth. Masters can harness this process and plan their next lifetime each and everytime.
Mahakala: A wrathful male version of Kali. An important diety for the Tibetan Kagyupa sect.
Golem: A mythological monster from Jewish magical mythology. Consort: The female half of a spiritual or magical pair.
Tantra: Indian mind science at its highest. All shamanic schools are a form of Tantra. Tantra means " continuity " in Sanskrit. Continuity of mind activity on all levels at all times.
Commies: American slang for Communists.
Auric egg: The energy field of a person. Intensified by two people coming together.
Protectors: " Guardian Angels " from all kinds of areas and mind levels. Everyone has these even if they are not aware of this.
Mandala: A concept aswell as a symbol. It can be used as a magical circle for visualization in the mind to access outer to deeper levels of " reality. " Auschwitz: Zaddik: A Jewish saint. Zaddik is used by the author in a generic sense aswell. Like Tulku.
Goys: None-Jews. Gentiles. Nakpa: A sorcerer lama. Expert demon fighters who train in cemeteries for their tasks. Klezmer music: Jewish folk music from Eastern Europe.

Chakras: Critical energy centers in the subtle body of each human. Their management and development determine one's psychic aswell as spiritual health.
Cats: American slang for people. These cats are cool. These cats are hot...
Third Wave: Alvin Toffler's categories for civlizational development. First wave as agricultural. Second as industrial. Third as digital. Each wave being faster than the last.
Saraswati: Hindu goddess of the Arts.
Tibetan Heavy: American slang for Tibetan master. A term from California slang: Calglish. Actually Buddhist Calglish.
Lotus position: A meditation posture. The crossing of the knees.
Dharma talk: Talking about any spiritual tradition or practise. usually Buddhist.

Moonies: A notorious South Korean cult popular in the East and West.
Zen: Mahayana Buddhism. The second school of Buddhism.Found in China, Korea, and Japan. Theravada: The first school of Buddhism. Found in Southeast Asia. Considered like classical music. Zen is like jazz. Tibetan Buddhism or Vajrayana is more like Rock an'Roll.
Oz-like: Fantastic. Like the Wizard of Oz.

Greece
Bonpos: The original magician priets of Tibet. Very controversial in their relationship to the Buddhists. Heavy Black magic. Rumored to have worked with the Nazis. Bonpos are used by author in a generic sense often.
Nagas: Water spirits.
Ayurveda: Indian holistic medicine. Deals with body, mind, and spirit aswell as enviornment.
Weirdo: American slang for strange person.

Israel
Dur: Tibetan fire ceremony to clear demons and psychological obstacles.
Yaweh: Hebrew for God. A very male term.
Watergate: A scandal that toppled President Nixon in 1974.
Jaws: A famous shark horror film that made Steven Spielberg famous.
Generation-X: The generation of Americans born in the 70's. The computer game generation. Boomers: The generation of Americans born in the 40's. The Hippie generation.
Black Solution: Black Stress triumphant.
Stress Flip: Oscillation between Black and White Stress.
Hassids: Orthadox Jews who once practised mysticism. Not too much now.
Kabbalah: Jewish mind science. Mysticism....
Bodhisattvah: Buddhist Mahayana term for saints who stay behind to help all beings. Very noble.
Meggid: The holy presence.
Mikvah: Jewish bath for purification. Extremely cold sometimes.
Essenes: Strict and secret Jewish sect that was destroyed in Roman times.
Yopi: Author's invention of himself: Yogi and Yuppie.
Jerks: American slang for stupid person.

Groupie: Crazy and indiscriminate follower of a teacher or religious school.
Guru: Sanskrit for teacher.
Kali: The great female goddess of creation and destruction.

Sisyphian: Greek for mythological being who had a task that was endless.
Chai: Indian sweetmilk tea. Very popular with California yuppies today.

Bumi: vision level of a practioner.
Shampas: a sub-sect of the Tibetan Kagyupa sect.
Stupa: A tower that commerates a Buddhist miracle or event. Highly symbolic.
Ngondro: Preliminary purification prectices for Tibetan Kaguypa and Nyingmapa sects.
No Stress: Enlightenment.
Low Stress: Close to enlightenment.
Gross stuff: relating to the physical body.
Swing Zone: The range of mind between Black and White Stress. The misery zone.
Arahats: Saints who fade-away and do not stay to help others. A one life mercy mission.
Apocalypse Now: The Francis Coppola movie that mythologized Vietnam war.

Calcutta
Subtle body: The invisible body around us that carries our karmic memory and our chakras. It is the part of us that is connected to subtler realms. It is developed for both magic and spiritual release.
Mahasiddahs: Big Indian saints who practised magic.
Sufis: Muslims belonging to a secret mystical sect.
Ramakrishna: The biggest saint of the last 100 years. Equivalent to Buddah or Christ.

Space-out: Losing one's identity or concentration.
Vertical flux: Toffler's waves crashing all at once. A Third World dilemma.
Horizontal flux: Toffler's waves developing one at a time. A First World luxury.
Ego-tripping: American slang for the ego controlling a spiritual practise.
Captain Kirk: The captain of the USS Enterprise from the TV show Star Trek. America's sci-fi tour de force. But with too much emphasis on Material technology.
Mo: A Tibetan divination practise using rosary beads.
Raga: Indian music.

MTV: Music Television. The scourge of cabal TV.
Kuntozhangpo/Kuntozhagmo: The classic Tibetan consort pair. A strong shamanic symbol of female/male psychic union.
Peyote: North American Indian drug for ritual ceremonies.
Cool: American slang for really neat. Hot is more powerful than cool. " Man that's so cool! But this is more than cool. It's hot! "
This term has nothing to do with temperature.

Vajrayogini: A Nepali version of Kali. Worshipped by Tibetans and Hindus.

Apple maze: Apple corporation headquarters in Silicon Valley. California.
Manjushri: The god of wisdom. Founder of Kathmandu in myth. Worshipped by Tibetans and Neapalis.
Purelands: Buddhist heavens found inside subtle realms.
Dakinis: Tibetan guardian angels.
Padmasambhava: The Indian master who brought Buddhism or Vajrayana to Tibet and Bhutan.
New Age: The pursuit of holistic and spiritual practices in modern America.
Spirit-fic: Spiritual fiction. A new genre invented by the author.
Mahamudra/Dzogchen: Advanced Tibetan practises. Beyond magic.
